Austin started his career at a young age, working for the Boake Lumber Company in Toronto a family owned and operated business for 4 generations. He worked in Toronto in sales for 3 years and in 1985 started Boake Building and Design Ltd. renovating century homes. He and his family moved to the Mansfield area in 1986 and started building custom homes and developing properties and buying commercial properties in and around the Creemore / Mansfield area.
In 1996 after 10 years of building, it became apparent that real estate would be a perfect opportunity for Austin to utilize all his talents and experience and give him the opportunity to use his expertise to help people buy and sell property. Re/Max Creemore Hills Realty Ltd. Opened it’s doors in August of 1996 in downtown Creemore at 136 mill Street, directly across from Creemore Springs Brewery. A perfect location to operate from. Good exposure on the main street and a fantastic place to work and play.
Austin enjoys a number of personal activities that give him an edge. He is a commercial pilot and uses his wings to seek out and give a unique perspective to his clients.
From the air properties and land uses can be easily recognizable and can reveal a great deal more about a property than viewing it from the ground. Austin uses his talents to market properties using aerial photography. As pilot in command with many years of experience in land development and building, he can expertly get the perfect angle to market the property to its highest and best value.
From the water Austin is an experienced sailor and seaplane pilot. He has extensively explored all of the shoreline of Georgian Bay and the North Channel and parts of Superior, Michigan, Huron, Erie and Lake Ontario.

Christine Boake, Sales Representative / Owner
Christine Boake was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. She spent much of her youth on the ski slopes of southern Ontario racing with the Ontario Ski team. Christine is a 25 year member of the Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance. She is a level 3 ski instructor and Level 2 coach and she spent as much time as she could on the slopes teaching and coaching kids and adults at Mansfield ski club and Craigleith Ski club.
She met Austin Boake, her husband and partner and together they lived and worked in Toronto. Austin in sales and Christine in radio. After a 10 year career with Toronto Radio stations CFTR and CHFI in news and entertainment, she left Toronto and moved to the Mansfield / Creemore area to begin a life in the country.
Christine and Austin Boake have three grown children, Gifford, Markie and Terra.
In 1985 Christine and Austin started Boake Building and Design Ltd. renovating century homes in Toronto and then building custom homes in the Mulmur/Clearview area. Along with land development, home renovations and custom building Christine and Austin bought, renovated and sold commercial buildings in the village of Creemore.
10 years later Christine and Austin decided to combine all their talents and experience and in 1996 they opened the doors at Re/Max Creemore Hills Realty Ltd. at 136 Mill Street, Creemore, and Ontario.
Living, working, playing and raising a family in the area for over 20 years has given Christine a unique perspective on country living. Christine takes a personal interest in every client that walks through the doors. She offers her clients guidance and advice on more than just buying and selling homes or weekend properties but how to make a house a home.
Joseph Talbot, Sales Representative
Joseph Talbot was born and raised in Clearview and knows the area well. For nearly 20 years, with R. Talbot Carpentry from the Creemore area, Joseph has honed his skills in post secondary education in designing, building and real estate and feels this will be a valuable asset to your purchase or sale.
Joseph is married with three beautiful daughters. Joe and his wife are foster parents and enjoy the fruits of their labour. His family, alongside his beliefs, morals, and values are priorities in his life and his value system is very much a part of his work life. His goal is to serve all people, in real estate, with the greatest of respect and integrity and help them through the entire process of buying and selling a home. Joseph strives to do the very best he can, and pays special attention to the small details and listens to what the clients have to say.
Activities Joseph enjoys most are spending time with his family, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, camping, snowmobiling, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, traveling and the theatre. Joseph is looking forward to serving you in the Clearview area!
Marnie Forstner, Assistant / Office Manager
Marnie Forstner is the Office Manager and Assistant to Austin Boake, Broker of Record/Owner of Re/Max Creemore Hills Realty. She ensures that all our clients’ needs are met.
Prior to joining Re/Max Creemore Hills Realty, Marnie spent 5 years in new home sales for Devonleigh Homes and Sunvale Homes. In addition to selling new homes she has also gained a lot of experience in home renovation through personal experience. Marnie and her husband live in Dunedin and have completely renovated their home. Marnie enjoys the real estate business and has a keen eye for searching out properties for clients.
Marnie has been a member of our team since 2004. Her sales experience, knowledge of real estate and residential building renovations make her an asset to Austin Boake’s team at Re/Max Creemore Hills Realty, ensuring that each client gets personal attention.
